Im not saying that the tunes are not good, but if they made the fucking bass cut through then i would put them on par with priest, accept, DIO, etc.

Bass should be bass, not a fourth guitar! If maiden re-recorded their most famous songs with more solid bass lines, then it would sound 100% more metal, but ofcourse the fan boys will say "but the bass lines is what make maiden what they are" well that is very true, it makes them SHIT! I find it a shame that such good musicians come up with such weak sounding songs and could be easly more metal sounding

i wish people would stop raping bruce dickinson and thinking he is the best metal vocalist ever!!! of course this comment will be hidden because your small little brains can't take it. you all know that technically, DIO is the superior singer to all, and that judas priest are more metal than iron maiden, but you fucking ignorant fan boys will never admit that because your too far up steve harrises bum to see anything. TBH Steve Harris is the bottleneck of maiden with his high end bass lines!

@tamalexis Thanks for replying. Didn't think anyone would take any notice of my little comment. RH topped the given list for me musically speaking, tho there are many others. Dio, a legend, no doubt. In this genre it's RH for my top vote. Sounding the same live or recorded is a talent thing, these fellas got it. Someone mentioned Justin Beiber, is that good live or recorded????? LOL.
