At the 3rd Annual PAWS Mutt Strut, dogs and the people who love them came to FDR Park to raise funds for PAWS, which is dedicated to saving Philadelphia's homeless abandoned, and unwanted animals. More than 1,000 people attended, more than $110,000 was raised, and lots adoptable dogs found loving homes! In addition to walking the 1.5-mile scenic route through the park, attendees enjoyed activities, music, food, and fun for the whole family.
I was at the event and had a wonderful time, however I think when it's warm, and rainy please don't dress pets in certain costumes. Costumes become drenched, hot and heavy which makes a pet uncomfortable. In addition, pets should not wear pants or dresses. Imagine your parent dressing you in an uncomfortable costume and feeling like you want to rip it off. Just because a store sells it, it doesn't make it right.

I'm glad to see an event like this pushing the adoption process for great animals in need a loving home. We adopted Reva (pic. min3:21) from DelCoSPCA and Maximus from Yonkers NY(pic. min3:23) and both have been fantastic additions to our home. We still can't believe someone would give them up. Our blessing though. Love those two!!
