This is how to clean a mass airflow sensor , this car is a 2003 ford crow vic police interceptor , but any car or truck with a mass air flow sensor will be cleaned in the same way , and they all are located in the air intake like this one , open your hood and you are sure to spot it , and the process is very simple , so clean away , even if you don't think you have a problem , clean it , you will notice power , and fuel mpg improvements 100% guaranteed , so get cleaning , also check out my video on cleaning your throttle body , this can be done with the same cleaner , and will help idle smoothness , and off idle stumbles , misses , and could turn off that big orange light on your dash too !!!

  • HELLO MY NAME IS ROBERT I WAS WONDERING WHY DOES MY TRUCK SOUND LIKE ITS SUCKING IN WATER THROUGH MY THROTTLE BODY IT SOUNDS LIKE A COFFEE POT NOISE. MY TRUCK IS A '03 MERCURY MOUNTAINEER 4.6 PREMIER. PLEASE GET BACK TO ME. THANK YOU

  • @THEERODRIGU3ZGIIRL they do kinda sound like that normally , but if it's dirty , it will make some stranger sounding sounds than normal ...

  • nice video...so u spray on both the wires..that tiny one inside and the one on the side? thanks

  • @lexusfan100 flood the entire thing down good , just let it dry before turning the ignition switch on in the vehicle , that take less than 5 min too btw , this stuff does dry really fast , just a small bit of dirt you can not even see will cause these things to have issues sometimes too

  • nice, is that a Klein 5-1?

  • @jjlwis yeah it's a klein it has 2 double sided bits and the nut driver sizes with bits and what not removed , the one tool everyone should have !

  • @princemarcel your welcome , check out the many other how to , and funny vids on my channel , and my other channel too "beltstowing"

  • thank you so much for this video....

  • @MyOddThoughts unplugging it or getting the old grease out of the socket ? if unplugging it seems like a bad idea , you should be able to clean it installed , and never unplug it , as for cleaning old grease from the connector CRC makes electrical parts cleaner for that , and most walmarts even carry it in the auto section

  • Hi! I was wondering how does one ungunk the electrical connector to the MAF sensor? I'm having trouble with undoing it and I'm afraid to break something. Its an oldie, so I'm assuming it hasn't been touched for awhile. Its a 1999 Kia Sportage. Any suggestions would be awesome.
