Arsenal boosted their Premier League title hopes in emphatic fashion and damaged Chelsea's in the process with a stylish victory at the Emirates. Branislav Ivanovic's header set up the prospect of an anxious last 30 minutes for Arsenal, but it never materialised as they held out comfortably in the face of a timid Chelsea challenge. Carlo Ancelotti will be under pressure to turn their fortunes around, but perhaps the greater pressure is on owner Roman Abramovich to make funds available to rejuvenate the squad and restore some semblance of an equilibrium that seems to have been disturbed by the unceremonious sacking of the popular assistant manager Ray Wilkins. Robin van Persie, leading Arsenal's attack with Marouane Chamakh and Andrey Arshavin relegated to the bench, was twice off target as the old flaw of failing to transform possession into goals against Chelsea threatened to resurface. Chelsea were stunned and their frustrations surfaced as Drogba and Terry were involved in a furious exchange of views near the centre circle as Arsenal's elated players celebrated.

  • Arsenal's goals were very lucky

  • I Fucking Love ARSENAL <3

  • Your not champions, your not champions, your not champions anymore ! :D

  • @General179 ramsey is lack of experience and walcott does play good (games against aston villa and chelsea this season) but he cant do good if no 1 feeds him with balls i mean seriously now he played for about 40 minutes as a striker with van persie against sunderland and he didnt get any balls same with van persie he played 90 minutes and no balls at all hardly got any balls

  • @RealRapAndHiphp so the only way for him to play well is to have a world class player like Fabregas feeding him through balls? that seems like a pretty bad excuse, Ramsey and Arteta are good enough players compared to others in the premier league

  • @General179 its not his fault wingers like walcott needs creativity in the midfield to preform

  • @RealRapAndHiphp It was a joke. People say players need time to improve, but Walcott seems to be getting worse. But I'm sure he'll find his form again

  • @2310reefer its not wenger its the board wenger is not responsible for the money in the club the board are
