  • Congratulations to those who are remind us that Lyndon Johnson was reponsible for the Voting Rights Act .. and that he actually believed that as a result it would be possible for a black man to become President at a time when even the greatest civil rights leaders didn't (believe).

Thank God for the POSITIVE ACTS of Lyndon Baines Johnson ( forgive .. as God does .. the negatives )

  • Particularly when that political power is used to help millions of Americans. TO change the way of life of the downtrodden. So many misspellings you ain't very

    good at writing.

  • it really disgusts me to still see people remembering LBJ as a great ex-president .

i think it is the most disgraceful piece of history USA has had because of the doings of LBJ being unrevealed till now,and the fact he became the President by BULLETS and not Ballots.

  • Because you sau so all of these cirumstances make it so. So? circustance does not make

    for facts or evidence.

  • DPD motorcop Billy Joe Martin, quote:

Well, while Kennedy was busy shaking hands with all the well-wishers at the airport, Johnson's Secret Service people came over to the motorcycle cops and gave us a bunch of instructions. They also ordered us into the damdest escort formation I've ever seen. Ordinarily, you bracket the car with four motorcycles, one on each fender. But this time, they told the four of us assigned to the President's car there'd be no forward escorts.

  • LBJ murdered the duly elected "Kennedy administration"

What this means, is that prior to LBJ having "won the right" to reverse the KENNEDY ADMINISTRATION'S policies, he was already of the mind set: "The king is dead; long live the king... blah, blah, blah." The transition was almost too even, too easy, too smooth.

  • yes, 045 , LBJ became POA imm. after JFK was pronounced dead in Dallas

not at the swearing in or at the next election. The swearing in on Airforce one

move was a political move not a legal one. LBJ could not repeal legislation, but did accumulate enough pol. power in

thirty years to pass over 1000 pieces of legis. He took Kennedy's aganeda as his own anyway and out Kennedy'd -Kennedy.

  • Until his inauguration in 1965, LBJ had no LEGITIMATE AUTHORITY TO ALTER THE COURSE JFK HAD SET IN MOTION. He did have the "usurped power" to change that course, but NOT the legal or moral authority to do so. But, that's exactly what he did.

  • Excuse my absence from this site, I was posting with a of other conspiracy experts elsewhere, one on the Jewish conspiracy, 911 Bush insice job conspiracy, Jesuit conspiracy and lastly La Raza as a terrorist organization conspiracy. Conspiracies abound everywhere.

  • @045781 Hy how are ya? There are no doubts that LBJ had a Jekyll and Hyde

type of Personality, along with a capacity

for legislative genius and doing great Good. Underlying both was a ruthlessness and capacity for destruction. Both idiosyncracies of personality and an unsleeping ambition made him the unforgettable giant historical figure and undeniable

    senate power that he was.

  • Johnson was "an animal in many ways" as quoted by RFK.
