  • Grow up kid, calling you Aussies "convicts" is just banter, stop crying.

You call us poms, we call you convicts

You mock our culture, we say you have no culture

you mock our queen, we say shes your queen.

It's all part of the Aussie English banter, which cricket wouldn't be the same without.

  • All the banter and shit aside. The Ashes rivalry between two great countries is what it is all about. Where would we be without it, unless you are an Aussie or Pom cricket fan, you would not understand. Good on em all I say, and may it long continue.....I am a Pom by the way, and at the moment, a very proud Pom. Thanks Australia, thanks for the memories.

  • Ponting, you churlish little git, get the lemon out yer arsehole

  • Shane Watson is Andrew Flintoff's left ball

  • nothing better than ashes...........anybody who thinks anything is better grow up kid

  • @FlapJack2206 what ponting said was spot on you hater.. flintoff was a shadow of his great self in 07 due to lack of fitness..

  • I think Flintoff didnt live up to his potential.....he did rise up to da big occasions evry now and thn.....but a player of his capacity cud hv got a lot more hundreds and a lot more five-fors....I admired him for his absolute passion for the game.....and tat he gave his 100% evn if he was half fit

  • lol everyone gives him respectful and flattering comments except for the whiny miserable sod Ponting... why your chirping now mate not getting any runs???

  • @G00n3r4Life I love a bit of sledging. Most of it is banter anyway. It's part of the game.

Mark Waugh: Mate, what are you doing out here, there's no way you're good enough to play for England"

Jimmy Ormond: "Maybe not, but at least i'm the best player in my family"

    Great line.

  • Where's our old mate Mitch on here? Altogether now he bowls to the left......

  • england and australia. we will follow each other into battle, but give us a ball in any sport and it is on!

long live australia, long live england.

  • bye bye ashes again aussies!
