How long was the hospital stay for your daughter. My daughter is just over a year old with grade 5 bilateral reflux and will most likely be undergoing reimplantation surgery as well. Our Urologist said she'd be in the hospital for 11 days! I'm getting a second opinion first, but first hand accounts from parents that have been through this would be very helpful.

Hi! I want to know more details on her past surgery, Because my daughter has a Bilateral VUR Grade 3 and told by the doctors that she needs to undergo an Open Surgery for Reimplantation.

my daughter got diagnosed with 3-4 16 months ago..... she just went in for her 2nd vcug and hasnt changed... surgery is the next intervention, im soooo scared

That is what Audrey had, a ureter reimplantation. Her recovery was wonderful and you can't even see the scar anymore. She is now 3 1/2 years old and in fact had a follow up urologist visit today and all looks great! She has not had one UTI since!!! So glad we did it even though it is hard to see your baby go in for surgery.
