what a beautiful piece of equipment. i have been on an expedition here in Malaysia to get a functional digital shortwave receiver, but with little success.

Now in the days of satellite cable tv wire and fluorescent tube etc. it is very difficult to get clear SW signals. But no doubt it is a great hobby.

Are you located in Eastern North America, or Western North America. We get less signals on the west coast, especially in Vancouver.

One BIG am station bleeds throught someitmes, but this radio awesome

I am planning buying one of those radios so I can hear the DRM signals using the IF output jack to a 455 kHz to 12 kHz down converter to a Dream DRM decoder to my PC in my living room. I heard this radio has excellent MW, SW and FM reception.

@gccengineering1996 That it does, I have a several shortwave radio, this one was the least expensive of the lot. But sometimes it even outshines my Icom R75!

Your picking up all kinds of stuff on yours. Do you have an external hooked up? Im going to build me my own. what kind of ant do you have hooked up?
