I ran over my MacBook today with my Subaru Outback! I was so freaked out. . . but it works just fine, just cracks in the glass on the sides, no dead pixels, the cracks don't interfere with the viewing. There are some scuff marks, and, like yours, my DVD/CD drive has a frowny face. But yeah. . . thanks to the aluminum case. . . go Macs!
