@Petraboye You're welcome. That's good to know that you like the flag also. I also like the Lion Rampant a lot, have one right here in the living room. It represents Scottish royalty, before it was hijacked by this Union. I know it's impossible today, as the crowns have mixed up, but it would be nice to see a true Scottish monarchy established again. I agree with you, I can't stand the Butcher's Apron myself. Hopefully, by 2014 with the referendum, it'll be all be in the past. Vote!!!

@Macjacobite1745 Alba gu brath! Glad to hear and agreed. I just slightly disagree on your views on the saltire. It's the oldest national flag on earth (just the flag itself is older than the state of England), created hundreds of years before this "Union", by Óengus II leading Scots and Picts into battle against the Angles, according to legend. So, like our Lion Rampant, it's also a noble flag in my opinion. I have it tattooed on my arm. But I love and fly both, for Alba!

@MSfeller Couldn,t have said it better pal.I hate this flag and its sadly popping up all over God,s Country.This flag represents to me the death of Scottish culture as we once new it.I also feel that Scots should be flying more lion rampants than saltires in their gardens and places of business.ALBA GU BRATH!!!!

@SpartanA499 god save the queen is excellent and is about id say equal to the american one. but we have an anthem that beats god save the queen and yours. rule britannia. and land of hope and glory. and land of our fathers. and scotland the brave. and i vow to thee my country. im sure america has some pretty good anthems, but to me the british ones are the best.
