@WhoseFranklin True, but Saladin was actually merciful. Didn't rape, pillage, or destroy any holy places(Muslim, Christian, Jewish or otherwise) when he took Jerusalem, or any city. The only time he executed captives, were Reynald De Chatillion and his men, since they raped and murdered Muslim travelers during a truce. Saladin was the true hero my friend. Just for the record, i'm English and Christian. I just know the history.
