  • I am very happy someone reminded me it is not weather proof. Honestly, I wasn't thinking about that. :)

  • Please actually review the product and find out exactly how long it actual charges

First off the 4-5 day battery charge time is off the manual

if your going to review a product at least use it and test it

  • A combination of this and Ipod/BtGpsreceiver would be perfect for survival/outdoor activties ...

  • Yeah, it takes it so long to charge because it's not weather proof. If it were, you could leave it outside in pure sunlight for about a day and a half to fully charge it. The problem is the uv protection built into most car and building windows, which blocks useful light the charger could use. An alternative would be to put the thing in a clear zip lock bag and leave it on a window seal or something.....oh and hope no one steals it, LOL. Gread vid, I really love solar stuff!
