Pink / Purple Smoky Eye using MAC Infatuating Rose Cool Eyes and Holiday Eye Brush Set

The MAC Holiday Sets have been on sale for 25% to 50% off! This is the first time this brand has ever gone on sale. Due to the economy many brands (who have never had sales besides a Friends&Family discount) have followed suit. If you havent already, these holiday sets are a steal. (FYI they are no longer on sale at the maccosmetics.com site but still are at others like Dillards (here you need to goto Cosmetics then type in Sale to search for it), Nordstroms (I just typed in MAC Holiday to search), Macys (at Macys.com you need to type in the exact name of the product for it to come up)

Urban Decay Primer Potion - also try Lumene eyeshadow base, MAC paints, MAC paint pots, Too Faced Shadow Insurance

MAC Painterly Paint Pot - I used this as well to make it easier to blend the eyeshadows

Bobbi Brown Black Mauve Shimmer Gel Eyeliner - also try MAC fluidline in Macroviolet or Blacktrack, L'Oreal HIP gel liner in Eggplant, Jane gel liner

MAC Holiday Eye Brush Set: 209, 212, 217, 252, 275 (All of the ones I used are marked SE for Special Edition - the brushes I have are from previous collections but are the same ones found in this year's holiday set)

MAC Holiday Infatuating Rose Cool Eyes Palette
1. Feast - a shimmery pink plum, this is a pretty unique color to me, but you can also try MAC Star Violet, NYX Salmon
2. Deep Feelings - a dark matte indigo violet, also try MAC Contrast, NARS Thunderball, NYX Eggplant
3. Bon Fete - a light shimmery pink, also try MAC Beauty Sleep or Girlie, shu uemura P Pink 110, NYX Sweet Pink
4. Platonic - a frosty grey lavender, also try MAC Idol Eyes, NYX Daffodil
5. Satisfy - a light pinky beige, also try Lancome Off the Rack, Stila Nude, NARS Nymphea, NYX Nude

Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Zero - UD makes excellent long wear pencil eyeliner. Makeup Forever Aqua Eyes, MAC Powerpoint, MAC Pearlglides and Revlon Colorstay are also very good.

MAC Penultimate in Rapidblack - this is felt-tip liquid eyeliner which recently came out in the Chill Collection. Covergirl also has a similar felt tip liquid eyeliner called Line Exact. Also try Lancome Artliners, Shiseido Fine Eyeliner and Wet'n'Wild Mega Eye Liquid Liners.

shu uemura eyelash curler - you should find one that fits your eyeshape, most people tend to love shu uemura, Shiseido and E.L.F (which is only $1!)

Covergirl Lash Exact in Black - currently trying this one out, Lancome Definicils, Covergirl Lashblast, L'Oreal Voluminous, Chanel Inimitable, Dior Diorshow and the Shiseido mascara base are all excellent

MAC Porcelaine/Browning brow shader - Use any eyeshadow that is good for your coloring (general rule of thumb is 2-3 shades lighter than your haircolor)
