Regina Dawn Akers - Laying "me" aside

Regina Dawn Akers is the scribe of The Holy Spirits Interpretation of the New Testament: A Course in Understanding and Acceptance (NTI). Like A Course in Miracles, NTI was written through a process of inner-dictation. It was given as a gift to everyone who is ready for spiritual awakening now. It leads toward awakening in a loving and gentle manner, guiding us each step of the way. All that is left for us to do is to practice, with our every breath, everything that NTI teaches.

In this segment, Regina discusses how all seeming desires roll up into one of two parent desires: 1) the desire to know thy Self, or 2) the desire not to know thy Self. Only one of these desires is a true desirethat which we really want and that which can make us perfectly happy. The other is a false desire. It leads us to what we think will make us happy, but when we get there we find that we need to desire something different as we continue to grasp for happiness.

Regina talks about these two desires, helps us to get clear on our deepest, truest desire, and helps us to see how we can remain clear so we are not distracted by false desires.
