A group exhibition organised and curated by the students from Central Saint Martins Dina Varpahovsky, Ute Schleicher and Katherine Payne and featuring the work of 20 artists across all fine art disciplines. Entitled Château dIf after the sixteenth-century island fortress that became a prison and was famously a setting from which The Count of Monte Cristos hero Edmond Dantès escaped after 14 year imprisonment, the exhibition takes on the key themes of love, betrayal, despair and revenge inspired by Dumas novel.
The exhibition took place in November 2009 at Shoreditch Town Hall, London.
