This is Serbian dish. You can use many different leaves. Middle east have Dolmas.

this is not sarma!!! Real SARMA is made of cabbage leaves, and it's muuuuuch bigger than this one!!! I'm Croatian and I know what I'm talkin about when I'm talkin about <3 SARMA <3 !!!!!

@maki12pk I dont think my mom ever put bacon in hers. She did use pork though. And we also had sauerkraut (homemade) in it too (not in the rolls but as layers between the"cabbage rolls"). She never measured anything, It was one of my favorite meals. Where live we call it pigs in the blanket.,

What nationality are you ? I have had sarma/dolmas made by palistinian ,Lebonese and Syrians. But never have seen the tomato juice

real sarma is made with cabbage,rice,meat,and bacon...not with tomato juice,and grape leaves....
How does she prepare the grape leaves? I have only ever had them out of the jar.
