Final Fantasy VII Hardcore: Super Midgar Zolom (part one)

This is a modded version of the Midgar Zolom, which I have renamed Midgardsorm (the original name was another of FF7's mistranslations). The major changes are:

His HP is now 500 000

He is level 99

His stats have been increased dramatically and his attacks strengthened; he can now do over 8000 damage to Red XIII, who is wearing Ziedrich armour. His defence is so high that only defence ignoring attacks are worth using against him; I have put in some non defence ignoring attacks to show the contrast.

His Beta spell has been replaced by Ultima (which ignores defence in my mod).

And most important of all, when he sweeps away one of the party, that party member is now flagged as "dead" (as with Ruby Weapon's Whirlsand) rather than escaped.

Note that the point of this video is not to show off my fighting skills, it is to show the enemy, who is supposed to be about as hard as Emerald Weapon.

I actually use FRAPS nowadays, since my processor (i5 750) can handle it. I was using a laptop with a Core Duo and a 5400RPM hard drive when I made this vid, so even camstudio limited my FPS a little.

I think Camstudio might be the best if your hardware isn't very strong. The new versions of FRAPS are great if you have a quad-core and a fast hard drive. I could be all wrong about this since I not really au fait with screen capture software.

There's a modification for the PC version that takes away the limit on maximum HP and damage. With the mod, it can go up to 32767.
