One Last Chance: Episode 1

so...please tell me what you think of The Boy Next Door...i know many of you must be on vacation right now(cough cough, JosephineJonas1527) lol...but usually i get at least one or two comments... i won't post more until then.

Taylor(sighs and dumps her stuff on her bed): Keyanne, I'm back.
Keyanne: Oh, hey, Taylor!
Taylor: I'm going to study, then go off to bed.
Keyanne: I'm staying up because Der-der is taking me out later.
Taylor(smiles): Don't stay out too late.
Keyanne: You got it, Tay.
Taylor(settles onto her bed): Ugh.
*The phone rings.*
Taylor(answers it): Hello?
Joe: Taylor?
Taylor(gasps): Joe.
Joe: Uh, hey, Taylor. Listen, I'm in town with my study group...maybe we could meet somewhere?
Taylor: Uh...sure.
Joe: Do you know anywhere good?
Taylor: Cafe la Pierre. *She tells him the directions.* I'll meet you there soon.
Joe: Yeah. 5 o'clock?
Taylor: Fine.
*She looks at the clock.*
Taylor: Oh, shoot. It's already 4:45!
*She rushes out the door.*
Joe(looks at his watch and is about to leave when Taylor rushes in): Tay!
Taylor(smiles): Hey. Let's sit down.
*He takes her jacket.*
Joe: That's a nice...tank top.
Taylor: You caught me off guard. I was expecting a night in the dorm, studying.
Joe: Well...what's up?
Taylor: I'm top of my class, 4.0 GPA, and captain of the step club.
Joe: That's great.
Taylor: What about you?
Joe: Oh...majoring in Finance, president of the juggling club...
Taylor(laughs): Juggling?
Joe: Step?
Taylor: Why'd you come here?
Joe: I told you...
Taylor: I think that you...wanted to...see me?
Joe: Yeah. I couldn't leave Sel alone there except to see you.
Taylor: Joe...saying no to your proposal was hard enough...
Joe: Really?
Taylor: Yeah. For now...I'm not ready to be in a relationship yet.
Joe: Oh...okay,
Taylor: So, how long are you here?
Joe: Three, four weeks. We're doing a research project.
Taylor: Cool...
Joe: So...can we hang out while I'm here?
Taylor: Sure. I would love that. Plus, my roommate Keyanne will get off my back about dating again.
Joe: Great.
Taylor: Yeah.
Joe(sighs): I really want to date you again, Taylor.
Taylor(looks at Joe and sighs): I missed you...
Joe: I know...and that's why we should be together.
Taylor: If I didn't have any time to think...I'd be pissed. But...it's been a year since we last saw each other, and I think...maybe...we can date. But if you screw up this time, it's over, Joe.
Joe: I got it.
Taylor: Well...school's almost over, only a month left. So I'll come back with you.
Joe(smiles): Got it.
Taylor: So, I heard your new songs.
Joe: Really?
Taylor: Yeah. You're really good at writing songs and singing.
Joe: Thanks.
Taylor(smiles): Especially that song, Mandy?
Joe(blushes): Yeah.
Taylor: You know that my middle name is Amanda.
Joe: Yeah. Taylor Amanda Swift. So beautiful.
Taylor(smiles): Thanks.
Joe: Did you like that song?
Taylor: A lot.
Joe: Thanks...a lot.
*He pays the bill and they leave.*
Joe(walks Taylor to the door): I hope you enjoyed dinner.
Taylor: We started dinner as friends and you were my boyfriend by the end. How could I not?
Joe(smiles and kisses her): Goodnight.
Taylor(opens the door and looks at him): Goodnight. Call me.
Joe: Yeah. Bye.
*He walks away.*
Keyanne: Tay! A walk to the door and a kiss?
Taylor: Um...yeah.
Keyanne: You better go shower and change quickly cuz I want deets!
