Sleepy Night [Original Composition]

It's called "Sleepy night", cause I remember I made all the tunes in this songs (Acttually it's separated tunes, I made them to be a song for about last week), in the late night.. Cause I can't sleep.. :) And actually I've got this piece of arpeggios for over 3 years,.. but at that time, it's still a concept rather than a song. And never had any desire to make it as a complete song :)

and when I play the tunes, it feels like somethin' sadness... but when I decide to bring somethin' like a chorus keyboard (It's still a guitar tough) that brings another dimension, remember the Ambient Music (Though I never expected somethin' like that)... just like being in a far away place, calm, peace, and stimulate from the past about good things, to lift up the motivation...

Well, just hear this 'simple' song... really it's so simple... it's purely an amateur thing.. but I hope you'll like it.. :p

2. My friends... and yes, I remembered that when I was playin' this piece of arpeggios in one of my friends place,.. suddenly In my minds, I found that the concept (this song) is finished... and I keep on focus to finished everything... so thank's for his place (and him) to bring this.. :)

The Story (Idea) Of This Song

Suddenly I remember all the good things happened with one of my ex-girlfriend each time I hear this... you know, glad to remember some good thing with her, but also sad not being with her anymore.. But we have to move on... :) and actually it became the idea of this song.

I mean, this is not a song when I fall in love.. But, unfortunately, the idea came out when I saw someone that just looks like her (my ex). And it reminds me back about some great moments, yet, it feels I wanna get back into that moment, but in fact, I couldn't do anything about it. Because, it's already in the past.
The only thing I could do is try to get some sleep & start dreamin' some good things about it without havin' any desire to get it back..

:-) you should do that. with 10 years gap, I'm sure your "Old" compossition will become somethin' huge, somethin' that you never tought about.

This was my 1st composition, a very simple, but with some ambience, it creates somethin' different. 'Til now, I've already posted 4 original compositions. and I've got more, but right now, don't have much time to make it. Takes lots of time to make it.

somehow i keep imagining that in the middle of the song you will suddenly come up with a big solo, yeeahaaa... hahahaa..... ada niat utk melanjutkan track ini? dibikin full length, tambah layer satu lagi. Beli pedal loop BOSS gih :p

ini sebenernya ada di software effect Guitar Rig 3, namanya "Slow Motion Movie"..

kalo gw lihat settingan-nya lumayan memusingkan... dia pake system spliting channel (Send/Return)...

terus yg pasti, preset ini pake :

Delay : Time(65%); Feedback(45%), level(40%)...

pake Chorus : Level (50%)..

terus dia juga pake simulator Delay-nya Steve Vai.. Time(75%); Feedback(70%), level(55%)...

sebenernya di software Guitar Rig ini komplit juga simulasi-nya.. cuman cape click mouse-nya... :D (gw lom nyoba software dari Line6 yg fungsinya sama kaya gini..)

Disini simulasi Amp-nya, pake Clean Channel.. (gw kurang tahu ini simulasi ampli apa-an, tapi kalo overdrive-nya jalan,.. lebih kaya ampli Mesa Boogie)

cuman kalo ngomongin hal gini, tiap effect bisa beda2 tone-nya. & preset di Guitar Rig itu biasanya effect-nya banyak condong ke Boss, Digitech, Ibanez...
