The vacuum air valve is not working ! With the valve working = more horse power !

@bmtastic Can you plese open your eyes ! Look at carefuly at 3:21min the resonance flap switched for higher rpm band ! If you ever notice the dyno shows the actual rpm resonace flaper operation! Thank you.

@SofiaBGhome i just saw at 3:21 ... indeed the valve worked ,.... but is it set correctly ?

4000+ rpms open 6500 closes ... dont know the exact figures , but its more or less .... ure valve is working but verry slowly .. and in some gears Nothing .... So , .... not working (correctly) Sorry but i'm a e34M5 Geek , I drive and race e34M5's ,... just wanna help out ..

@bmtastic Hi, I do race S38's engine as well. If you read carefully TIS BMW the flaper operates from 3 different factors: vacume, intake temp, and rpm. I will try to find the Factory article to show you how the flaper works. Also the flaper does self test when you start the car every time. Their is no such a thing working slow or set in different rpm etc.. unless you have standalone to control by your desired rpm range. Cheers!

@bmtastic. Also, the flaper works on 2 stages not 3. The flaper works from rpm does not mater the gear you are at. Cheers. Were do you race?

u didnt understood my reply correctly i guess .. doesn't matter what gear ure at . indeed , BUT your flapper isn't working in all gears ! and has a verry low reaktion , . check my channel for selftest . valve only works with hot engine , FULL throttle ! +4250 rpms and below 6500 rpms . when u start the engine the valve open closes 3 sec.

mine M5 is a complete engine rebuild by racing Dynamics from a to z , material only = 8000 € . first and 5th gear is 8000 rpm 2,3 and 4th gear 8250 rpm. i drive at zolder and nurburgring sometimes zandvoort . cheers

@SofiaBGhome look at my profile vids , there u can find the self test vacuum valve. it only works on hot engine , not cold indeed.

only on full throttle and between 4250 and 6500 rpm's.. its gives u a xtra boost on high rpms and a better reaktion on low rpm's , cus the M5 engine best work at +4000 rpms , they are verry slow under 4000rpms.
