This is Li Baoru - 72 - practicing a traditional excercies for increasing hand eye coordination, grip strength, and the lower back.

This steel keystone weighs 9kgs

If you want to try this remember when throwing the keystone to do so in a way that allows for the catcher to catch it using a technique.

When catching the keystone remember to go with its energy. Dont grab it.

The stronger and more confident you become the higher you can throw it.

Dont be stupid with it, if it lands on your toe it will take you out for a month or two!

Go for gold!

Yeah there is make a small sandbag out of canvas that weighs about the same as the keystone.

  • For all Shuai Jiao-holics:

Make sure you check out the Shuai Jiao tutorials posted on our channel.

    Peace!

  • i wonder if there is a way to make a tube with sand or water or something to make it heavy enough to get the same strength and coordination benefits without the injury risk

  • that´s cool, i guess i get really strongs hands with this ;)

  • Do you knox if it's possible to order some of these training items ?

  • wow i want , but im not from China :(

  • It seems like it would be less risk to the fingers with using a ball, but I guess that's where the coordination comes in.
