  • some jerk got me to eat a buckthorn berry. I spit it out but... wtf am I going to shrivel up

  • If we are to think of ourselves as truly a part of this planet, then we really should start including ourselves as a necessary part of the life cycle. Like wolves in Yellowstone, we have part to play and when we are removed life changes. The assumption is that people exist as the only correcting force within the human species, but this is not so. Disease and famine bring down our numbers just as surely as ladybugs correct aphid overpopulation.

  • I tend not to disagree too much with Daniel Vitalis, but to say that eggplants aren't natural foods is mischaracterizing things a bit. When people select certain plants for desirable traits,(unless they are genetically modifying plants)they are working in tandem with nature. Other animals do this also, and many plants and animals have developed symbiotic relationships. The only difference is that people are able to intentionally propagate plants. People use knives because we don't have claws.

  • Usually I don't disagree with Daniel Vitalis, but to say that eggplants aren't a natural food is a bit much. It would be one thing if you were eating a gmo eggplant, but when people select the seed of a certain fruit for continued planting, they are actually working in tandem with nature. This is how people, and other animals came upon most of the fruit and veg we eat, we just happen to have the ability to observe and imitate how plants procreate.

  • @rambusito psh good one

  • Strange why i found the guy who just wandered into the video more frightening than the teacher.

  • goji berries & ashwagandha are in the same family.

  • Your arms are more deadly to look at rather than those plants.

  • There are actually wild tomatoes and peppers though. We didn't develop the domestic cultivars from whatever random nightshades, but rather from wild types of tomatoes and peppers (some of which may still be found today).

    I hate misinformation.

  • Interesting and awesome!
