I am planning on getting Mirena next month due to heavy periods and hormone imbalance. I have had two children and no plans to have anymore. Your videos have been very helpful. Hope everything goes well!

Hey! It's been almost 5months since i'vegotten the mirena,and I stopped having a period. I haven't spotted either. I think it finally adjusted to my body. I'm glad I kept it through the first couple of months. And after hubby came back from deployment, hehad no trouble with it either;)

Can i please just say that if you can't feel the strings get it checked right away. I was not told about checking them monthly. Also not told to come back after 4 weeks for check or to be checked yearly. As a result i have had mirena for 2 years unchecked. I have been so sick and in alot of pain for ages. If u ladies start to get sick get it seen. Also if you read the booklet sent to doctors if has all probs ppl r talking about not in patient booklet. why is that ladies check 4 yourself.
