Hey Thanks for the video I did some of the mods on my VJ along with a few I got off the SEwatt bulletin board took a muddy flat sounding amp to something amazing. Thanks for the video It help gave me the courage to mess with mine.

What kind of mods would I have to do to get more clean headroom out of it? I listened to the demo and it sounds awesome!.. just not much room for good clean tones.

@HellBent1337 #1 use a hammond 125ese output transformer #2 raise the pre amp plate voltages #3 use a very efficient speaker ... there is not a lot you can do with a single ended 4 watt amp ... just like you cant make a motorcycle a good dump truck LOL

what brand of power capacitors did you use for the 47 mfd? Also, was it at 500 volts?

@jonbehert the amp runs at 300 volts but I used 450 volt caps for all power supply work
