This is my report back to you guys regarding my trip to Zimbabwe this August 2009. I had the most fantastic time and feel it would be a disservice if I failed to let you guys know how things are progressing, economically and politically.

I knew u had to. Y'll look alike bro. I was at Anderson and was one yr his snr then we were both in the states. i saw him in 01 and 05, 06 here in the US. Zim is a heaven bro, I tell everyone here to go home as much as they can. mina, i have told myself that I will be doing this once a year. I have been since 2008. The zim i saw in March 08 and the one I saw Jan 2010 were 2 different countries. I actually had some hope of going back permanently. I am yet to post my pics on my facebook.

@Tonyjava yes...I went to Anderson too (but primary). We drove past it quite a lot during the summer (my relatives own the farm opposite)...it seems they are developing the school a lot (new dorms being built e.t.c.).

I'm starting an internship in the summer (here in the UK) but am planning on going on a gap to southern Africa. I love Zim, but I'm also really curious to see what the rest of Sub Sahara looks like :P

hi there i just came from zim about a month ago im a african american and me and my boyfriend (who is from harare) traveled there. it was my first time to the motherland i felt even more proud to be black as you know most of us as black americans can not trace our exact liniage back to any particular country due to slaveryt to go to places like great zimbabwe and see how u all can trace your heritage its beutiful i loved zim black i thought blacks here were slow in doing things i see now wh

Don't mix tourism with actual life. I'd love to go visit Zimbabwe, but keep in mind that it's pretty much one of the poorest countries in the world, the government sucks and money is worth less than the paper it's printed on.
