@drummingninga9 No man, they run a click track throughout. That's what keeps everyone on point, and through the monitors they have a stage director who speaks through a mic, taking direction from the worship leader that informs the musicians of what to do dynamically. They don't run tracks through the ear.

@Kitthevash The keyboard is midi'd through a program on the mac and also its running loops, that are sent to all the musicians in-ears to keep them in time...

playing this and many other songs with my youth worship band this weekend at a retreat!! so pumped to use my gifts from God to worship him!!

@Kitthevash they are mostly used to control the sounds of the keyboards. Its alot easier to adjust the sounds and presets when you can actually see everything on the computer. Macbooks are just the most popular choice to run the software.

I have a honest question, why is it that all worship bands have a Macbook sitting in the center of the stage? can they not play music without it?
