This movie tells kids its ok to keep Wolf Hybrids as pets! lol I don't remember the ending much but don't they own Balto at the end of the movie? Hes a wolfdog!

@TheCajunGambit1 Well the point of this movie is that people who are different of underestimated or viewed as dangerous might not be what people see them as. yeah, it's probably not wise for an idiot person at least xD to own a wolf dog hybrid. But I've seen some and they are friendly. As long as they have a good owner who trains them well it should be fine. :)

@xoJennaloverxo Yea thats true I just figured since little kids might not understand they may tell their parents to get a wolfdog as a pet! XD. But whats ironic though is the Balto in real life was a purebred Siberian Husky no wolf in him at all.

Actually he WAS a hybrid. :) I did a speech on him when i was little. It was based on a real wolf/dog. He was real. with wolf senses he smelled and tracked them down. He traveled sooooo many miles. I forget how many exactly. I think little kids in my grade then couldn't actually grasp the concept of how amazing he really was =_= (i was always to mature for my classmates and still amxD) If you look at a picture, you can tell he's a wolf hybrid. though, he was the head dog on the team.So awesome!

@TheCajunGambit1 No they dont own him at the end, he stays a stray just people like him more and hunters often shoot at him and his daughter

@sasuhinagirl Also in some states and countries there illegal to own, In my state you can't have them unless you have a zoo keepers license type thing and you have to educate the public about them. The law will take them away from you in my state and probably put them to sleep because wolves and wolfdogs are considered dangerous animals in my state alongside lions, tigers and bears etc. However a pet Fox is legal in my state with a different type of permit needed though same for Raccoons.

@TheCajunGambit1 It is okay to keep wolf/dog hybrids ONLY as long as you are a VERY experienced dog owner-You have to be beyond expert to be able to do so effectively. (Oh, and you can't have children living with you.)

@TheCajunGambit1 no nobody owns balto, and it does not tell kids itś ok to own wolf-crosses, it tells them that even though he is different the people treat him such and itś unfair. that he is just another animal and deserves as much love as they give jenna.
