Premature Babies / Twins Born at 24 weeks Gestation (6 months )

This is the story of our miracle twins who were born 4 months premature and have beat the odds. Our babies only weighed 1 lb 6 ounces and 1 lb 8 ounces at birth. Both of our babies fought to survive! They both had become septic after their intestines perforated. Our little girl had a severe bleed in her brain, bi-lateral grade 3/4 (4 is the worst). They also had many other life saving procedures/treatments during the 4 + months in the hospital NICU. The doctors only gave them a very small chance of survival. Thank god for miracles because both of our babies beat the odds. They are delayed as expected, but are generally healthy. They are 21 months old and are both walking, climbing and babbling. Speech is one of the major concerns. We feel blessed and want to give hope to the other families that may be going through a similiar situation. We are also honored to be the 2010 March for Babies Ambassador Family for Monroe County, PA.

This video brings tears to my eyes. Brings back memories of my own sons :) I have twin boys who were born at 27 weeks, 1 lb 8 oz and 2 lbs. They are now 7 yrs old and are amazing, healthy and smart! Your babies are so beautiful, truly little miracles. God Bless =]

They're beautiful! As a mother, I couldn't imagine going through this, Though my son had some problems during birth and a surgery, And It takes amazing strength to see your babies like that. But God truly blessed you with miracle babies! And I'm so happy they're healthy. Wonderful video!

this video made me sob my heart out! wee cuties, im so glad they pulled through. my mum had 3 misscariges and 2 still births se we wernt so lucky but its makes me so happy for the survivors because i know what it feels like :') what a miricle, bless :) :) x

This video made me cry. Im so thankful to have my mother. My mother was born at 26 weeks and she lost some hearing because of it. My mother is simply amazing and is back in college at age 40 with 3 children. Shes going after her dream in becoming a nurse and isn't letting her hearing stand in the way! Before my mother was born, my grandmother had miscarried 4 times, My mother would have been her 5th. They are beautiful and wish them a long healthy life. They are miracles!
