Certainly everybody has the right to like and dislike wathever they want, but always maintaining respect for the people who don't think like you. I'm not sure what year it was (1998ish?) but I saw Pat in Northampton Ma where it was the first show of that current tour. He came on stage and said that he is going to try out what works and what doesn't..... Well we are treated to a 4 hour long show of the most amazing music you would EVER hear... Thank you Pat for that magical time.

I used to have OFF RAMP on vinyl in the 80's. . .We would spark one up and listen to this and imagine it symbolized to cycle of life with the build up to a peak then a battle to the death with the last bit of fight of a life clinging on until the inevitable death . a life told by music . . Pat is PURE genius. He is possibly the most under appreciated composers in the last 2 centuries.

It is unfortunate that the musical mainstream is filled with disingenuous, vanilla, made for mass consumption insults to the soul of music it self.

I truly believe that the world would be filled with love if Pat's music were more celebrated. Pat's use of sense and counterpoint epitomize the respectful acknowledgment of an opposing view.

The world will flourish in balance and creativity.
