do you know how to play video on the iphone from the desktop?

I can choose where to play video from the app on the phone (it asks whether to play video on iphone or laptop). But using the prog on the laptop just plays on the laptop, it doesn't give me a choice, do you know how I can play videos on the iphone from the laptop?

Great video but my Plex app has different advanced settings to you. I haven't got the section that asks which playback options to choose. I want to remote control my Apple TV (running plex) via my iPhone.
