Why aren't they comparing the comparable cars......The c6 z06 is a near direct competitor for the Viper. These people are complete dumbasses.

@ryebread105 I don't know, I think there is enough room for more than one great American sports car. And by laying down one of the fastest Nurburgring production car lap times ever, 7:12(with the ACR) vs Corvette ZR1's 7:19, while being among the most desirable of American cars ever made. I'd say the Viper is worth mentioning.

The Corvette is a base model. The viper clearly has a horsepower edge, but it's a shit car. Too expensive and does not have the legacy that the Corvette does. The Corvette is THE American sports car. PERIOD.

@fockyerdod3r ...i've had an M3, driven GTR, owned a Viper GTS, and now a corvette (not delivered yet). The M3 is nice, but outside of the warranty period you better run away from it. Had a 335xi as well...major turbo issues. The M3 was great as long as you didn't push it. If you drive it hard, it breaks. My buddies M3 blew the whole rear end out and it's not even that old (he drives hard). If you know how to drive, american cars definitely hold their own.
