ok, being from WV living in arizona now, poeople need to get over the fact that he is gone...its over, who cares. football is a business. here is what will more than likely happen. 1- he is going to clean house in NCAA football and destroy all the competition. 2-being that mich has more money than the exxon mobile now, he will be fired in 2-3 seasons for not winning and not beating OSU, then they will chuck a bundle of money at another coach.

Sounds like a bunch of cry babies got spoiled by R2 getting 3 straight 11 win seasons for WVU. Three straight. Before that, WVU only won 11 games twice in its entire history. Also only ranked in the top ten three times pre R2. He won 4 of WVUs 5 total Big East Championships. Sounds to me WVU fans should just thank him for getting them back to prominence and leaving them in a good state with a good coach in Stewart to guide them through. But nope, just spoiled rotten brats.

Stewart aready has more wins last year than RR has in 2 yrs...Enjoy 8-4 seasons and losing to Ohio St. annually...Motor City bowl regulars.....not bad for UM I guess...he can't even beat 1-3 SPARTY..lets see how it pans out the rest of the season.. I don't think that 8-4 seasons at best will be good enough for UM alum...but look on the good side..he's already broken many records for UM...and made them bottom dwellers in the Big 10..but the rest of the country gets a good laugh..LOL

HA..they were on the bench behind RR's boy Gwaltney (thug) and Bednarik...they weren't even starters til injurys....RR didn't make shit..they made themselves,..he can't even feild a good team from 4-5 star recruits now..LOL What did he do the years they weren't playing ..hmmm? He won 1 BCS bowl ..actually White and Slaton won it..Oh, RR did call a fake punt tho..LMAO....Actually Stewart was White and Browns QB coach, and he recruited Slaton and Devine as an Asst....everyone else is Stewarts....

U just made my point for me. White, slaton, schmitt weren't te greatest players coming out of high school. RR MADE them into the heismen trophy candidates they were. He made a walk on (schmitt) into a legend here at wvu. RR won 4 big east championships, 2 bi east coaches of the year, and numerous new year bowl games. We'll see how many stew can win. And Don't forget that Stewart is still playing with RR recruits... Instead of his own....

Seems funny that RR having WVU at their "paramount" was only during White, Slaton, and Schmitts years...hmmm?

Other than those years WVU was only 8-4 years...I wouldn't consider that as paramount by any means......

I'm definately sold on the asst. coaches that WVU has though...and that is what really counts. Paramount until he lost the biggest game in his time at WVU against a 3-9 PITT team, that would have put WVU into the NC game.......WVU is 4-1 RR has UM at 4-2..so I'd say Stew is doing better....

With coach rodgriguez, WVU was at the paramount of college football every single year. Coach rod was the master of running the spread offense, bill Stewart not so much. He may have good recruits coming in, but he won't know how to use them, unlike rod. Looks where he has Mich is second year there. With Stewart wvu is back to

Give Stewart a chance...all you have to do is look at the quality of recruits that he is able to bring to WVU. If not for the mistakes this year, they would be in the top 20 right now......RR is classless, and would still have jumped ship because the AD was watching him too closely..afraid he was going to break some NCAA rules...look at the stir he's created at UM so far.....IMHO , Stewart and co. will have WVU contending for BE Champs every year..just look at the QB, RB, and WR's coming in '10.
