Footage from a while ago, didn't get around to it 'til now.

Like the title, this is an '09 Autocar WXLL (with Cummins ISM350 engine) and a split Labrie Expert compaction body, 50.50 for garbage and recycling on residential routes. This particular truck belongs to Recology Sunset Scavenger, with identical trucks also in operations with Recology Golden Gate. The driver was performing walk-in collections for small apartment homes.

Filmed in the Inner Sunset, San Francisco.

  • @ACX009 Ah...interesting. Yeah, it's kinda how Labrie is set apart from most other truck companies.

  • @ACX009 i was about to say that Recologly deverts so much waste by compost and recycle and they make it easy i can see why AWSMC screwed up dual strem come on lol well i may not like the name to much but i love the service they provide and they seem to treat the custumer well i tip my hat to Recology :) and to you for haveing great video of Norcal and Recology trucks my favs the old WhiteGMC Xpeditors

  • @AlliedWaste76 Hahah Thanks. With Recology, I wouldn't be surprised if they battled it up with the big boys. Recology is in a category of its own. They offer an innovative product that's proven and effective. 77% waste diversion in one of America's largest and busy cities, I don't think anyone else has been able to come close.

  • @TrashMonkey29 Just don't overdo the music. That last vid was a bit much. ;]

  • @ACX009 hahah well when people put out good videos i have to complement them :) yea i heard about that they said they will keep the cleanScape name prettey soon Recology is the new Republic haha

  • @AlliedWaste76 The complements never stop coming. Much Appreciated! Besides Oregon, Recology is now looking into expanding to Washington, by taking over Clean Scapes. Woo! Local trash company (Recology is actually based in SF) is becoming a sanitation super-power!

  • @legodude24652 Oh yeah. He swallowed a residential route appetizer before getting into this main course. Thanks dude!

  • @ACX009 i was talking about the Lodals and older WhiteGMCs and Volvos yea i know Norcal changed their name becasue they were going into Organ and the name Norcal in Organ would be stupied lol i love WhiteGMC anything that is my fav company that maid the Xpeditors well glad this has about a good 7 years on it :) again great video

  • @reyflow8 Thanks a bunch! Believe it or not, they've actually put a dampener on the packer hydros in these trucks (only in SF) so they let out a significantly softer and higher pitched squeak. I don't know what Labrie was thinking with those squeaks. In San Jose (not Recology), their Automizers and Experts let out a loud and low pitched squeak (Labrie signature) that could be heard over the actual truck itself... My unwanted alarm clock :[
