The Goo Goo Dolls "Feel the silence" is a 2007 remix - composed by
lead singer Johnny Rzeznik.

The pics are of Canada's newest named region Nunavut. Always a part of Canada's north, but the land was renamed as a separate region than the Northwest Territories in 1999.

The Inuit people live there and both languages of Inuktituk and English are spoken. It is only accessible by plane or boat (mostly its air travel), as there are no roads leading into the arctic landscape. The history of the people in some areas pre-dates the Vikings. Archeological evidence shows habitation for over 4000 years. Remote as it is, they have the most northernest permanent settlements on earth. I thought the song "Feel the silence" went with the remote northern environment. But the song is nearly mind-blowing anywhere!

The Goo Goo Dolls greatest hit ever was "Iris", but this song comes close, and for me it is still their very best (even beyond Iris and other big hits) !
