Robert Kocher of the National Economic Council debunks the myth that Health Insurance Reform would be financed by cutting Medicare benefits. To the contrary, reform would simply eliminate waste and unnecessary subsidies to insurance companies. August 10, 2009. (Public Domain)

  • Who put Bob up to this?

What the hell is wrong with his face?

More importantly, how the heck are we going to afford this?

Hey! What the heck happened to the Anti-war lefty's?

Hello? I'm with you Lefty, let's fight against the war?

    No?

    Strange, so strange.

if 'liberals' still think this is a left right issue I suggest you listen to the above link. I would also encourage you to read the book 'propoganda' put out by the CIA in the 1960's about TV being used as a brainwashing tool. Don't you guys every wonder why you repeat the same exact arguments from the TV? Have you ever thought about doing research on your own? It hard to admit your political ideology has been brainwashed, most of you don't even create your own thoughts.

  • Obama Cons Cripples

Obama needs a cattle prod and shock collar to enforce civil rights laws. His adoption of Rosemary’s HMO baby, Kaiser Permanente, rations medical care to disabled patients. I was crippled by paralytic polio at age 6. Kaiser’s ADA Compliance Program Manager refused to disclose service dog policies. Obama’s Disability Director, Henry Claypool, ignores complaints.

  • Pres. Obama, where is clunker for college tuition? Another empty speech?

  • @hhhhehehehhhhehehaha yeah. read the bill pal. it says CLEARLY that medicare will be cut by HALF A BILLION DOLLARS

  • LMAO this is hysterical.

I read the bill and it says CLEARLY that medicare will be cut by HALF A BILLION DOLLARS. so how is that stronger?

Again, I READ the ENTIRE bill and it says CLEARLY that medicare will by cut by $500 MILLION dollars.

you lieing bastards make me sick.

    oh one more lie

Obama said on 8 seperate occasions that the health care debates would be broadcast on C-SPAM but NONE OF THEM HAVE BEEN!

    They've all been SECRET meetings.

He's lied more times than any president I know

  • The Mayo Clinic jas just stopped taking Medicare patients: Welcome to ObamaCare.

  • We can't keep our insurance that we have as they just raised our plans cost fro, $49.00 each to $130.00 each. So much for reform. If they would stop all those "middle men" Liberty, the Scooter Store and the like, our insurance companies would be getting gouged as they are now. As it it we can't afford these new premiums and the sentence saying we can keep our insurance coverage is a misleading statement.

  • Is that why the budget office says that this will be a $500 BILLION cut in Medicare over the next 10 years? At a time when many retirees will be coming into the system. Medicare works? Why is it going bankrupt? I wonder how many more have dropped out of AARP.

I remember when the President was on his campaign to sell the stimulus bill, main talking points, bad players will not be rewarded, no ear marks, no special interests. What happened? Lost credibility & trust.
