@SmallFish616 This usually happens when you only have an internal soundcard, which ain't the best soundcards to compose music with. "Pro" soundcards adds ASIO drivers for your soundcard, which results in less, or no, latency. However, there is a workaround for this for internal soundcards. You can install ASIO4ALL, a FREE ASIO driver. It will definitely lower the latency and works quite good for MIDI recording.

Thanks for the video :) when I'm in Impulse though, it only lets me play the note for the slot that currently has the blue bar in its top right corner, and not for any of the others - any ideas how to fix this? :/

this is so awesome, thanks so much! i have a problem though, there seems to be a latency when i press a key on my keyboard the it takes a little time (just long enough for it to be a little noticable) for the note to sound. is there any way i can fix this?

Hey Guyz anybody can help me out with my major problem in reason ?? i have my midikeyboard connected so when i open any equipement example thor polysynth it works i can hear the sound but when i conenct after itt another equipement like redrum i cant hear my redrumm when i press play on itt.. can somebody tell me whyy ???
