Still Got This Thing For You was filmed by director Deborah Samuel at the Masonic Temple (now MTV headquarters in Toronto) after 18 hours and 12 takes of live performance on Alannah's only day off in 8 months with an overnight tour bus drive to perform at New York's Bottom Line the next day without so much as a tuna salad sandwhich for dinner! Released as a single to AOR (rock radio only) in Canada and USA, helped it to chart top 40 in album sales on Billboard and Rolling Stone. Special thanks to Canada's Queen of Soul, Jackie Richardson for her vocal accompaniment!

I remember the Bottom Line. Loved every minute of it. At sound check I crawled up a ladder to the second story balcony to my sound man to say Hi! and the club owner shit himself, calling his lawyers all day long to arrest me should I climb up it again and positioned 2 big ass body guards on either side of the post to prevent easy access.
