If you go see Pyrix to get the Ice Sword request

and then explain the situation to Galahad,

he will come with you with the Ice Sword

He has the Ice Sword and you must trade it to Pyrix in exchange for to get the Ignigarde which is the start of a trade sequence with the other Elemental lords for the Water Dragon Rite quest.
