Does anyone know where I can get parts for the Winchester model 1902 or a diagram showing the shape of the parts so I can fabricate them?
I need the screw that slots into the bottom of the barrel and the spring and the bit of metal that the trigger slots into.
Any help would be appreciated

Larry, I have the standard 1902 model. It was passed down to me from an Uncle. I'm just wondering about the collection value of these rifles. I suppose the thumb trigger model to be fairly rare, but what about the stadard model? Could you give me some information about them or point me in the right direction to look for the info? THANKS. Dale Jones

the thumb trigger is just a trigger sear without the trigger

Probably because the rifle recoil will jam that piece of metal right up into your thumb.

I have the standard model. Now I need to find the thumb trigger model!

@paperkiller25 well lets just say military interest and i was VERY lucky. no i am not in the army, but i do wish to join it, but i am a army cadet, and i had a very lucky day :) and yh i realise that the machinery takes in the recoil, but the old style auto grenade launchers had so much recoil that it took 3-4 fully loaded sandbags PER TRIPOD LEG to keep it in place. both very powerful rounds, but power dont mean crap if round accuracy is poor. its shooters choice really or we'd be using 50.cal

@QRNPTBUZ Holy tangent Batman! How did you get onto automatic weapons and mounted hardware? That recoil is transferred through the mount not the body.
30-06 is a common hunting rifle as well as the more powerful caliber of 300win mag.
The recoil of a 30-06 often results in scope eye broken noses if you don't mount the rifle properly.

@paperkiller25 y but most heavy machine guns and automatic machine grande launchers use this system, browning machine guns also use it

I've been a shooter and gun collector for forty years, and I've never seen one of these! Thanks!

Wow, that thumbtrigger can't get any more simple.
