Amazing how many people comment about how they aren't the best female group in history as far as sales when they don't really comprehend why they are called at.. it's a rather specific title for a given time period. @Therealmensa Yikes, read the wikipedia before you comment. They don't feature in the Girl Groups which is singing only females not singers/musicians. The later category is harder to define depending upon genre.

Anyone who believes the claim the Dixie Chicks STILL make as being the best selling female group ever need only look at the wiki page for this subject. The Dixie Chicks aren't mentioned anywhere on that page, and it doesn't include anyone producing from anywhere other than the USA and Europe.
