Nádherné! To je velice krásný orchestrion. Taky skladba je pěkná! Nevíte, kdo složil tento "Orang-Outang Rag"? Byla skladba napsána speciálně pro tento orchestrion? Děkuji mockrát (Czech language.)
Google machine translation:
Beautiful! This is a very beautiful orchestrion. Also, it is a nice song! Do you know who composed the "Orang-Outang Rag"? The song was written specifically for this orchestrion? Thank you very much.

LOL true

LOL, especially if they used PVC and silicone ;)
-
Interesting. Thank you very much for the information Sir.
-
Yes, I did
-
Did he also put the cymbols on the figures hands?
-
Nope, the rebuilder put them on. It started out missing most of the innards.
-
I thought the builder put them there, Thank you Sir.
I have to say this is a very nice sounding Orchestrion build-up. Much better than some of the modern monstrosities I've seen on YouTube over the years. If one could butcher a piano, some on YouTube have done that to create an "orchestrion", but what they really created was a piece of feces that made noise.

I would think that the happy music should make them reconsider and turn around... this music is meant to lift spirits you know! Even the serious and somber minor-key music on some rolls for some instruments is meant to make you think and feel... not kill yourself. And I can find no equivalent of the happy, joyous quality of the best orchestrion and band organ music... it is very rarely found in human performances, because the performer seems naturally apt to darken tunes with outside emotions.
