The golden age of racing, never to be repeated & never to be forgotten!!

Modern muscle, while being some seriously-engineered vehicles, are paper champions. They're as boring & bland are driving gets, and make 20 y/o's think they're heroes. Steering-wheel attendants, in a retail car. Modern cars have a place in my memories, but 70's muscle will always be my daily driver. That's Driving! I'm only in my early 30's, but I was brought-up right ;)

1975 torana was an L34 also

Now they were cars that you really drove, no bloody computers or anything to assist them at all. That was real driving on the seat of your pants.
There is a great DVD you can buy called "40 years of Bathurst".

Fantastic.....;.but why ruin it with a music overlay?????, the sound of those muscle cars is all the music you need!!!!!!!!

@Sodiumreactor I'm with you, don't know how you couldn't love the sounds/sight of these cars. Good sound track too.. Re XA GT Falcon, for a coupe expect to pay anywhere from $60 000 to over $100 000AUD. Maybe we could help each other out...I'm looking to import a 1970 Boss 302 project car from the USA. If you keep an eye out for one of those I'll keep an eye out for an XA ;)

Don't forget the co-drivers -

1974 - (Big Revvin') Kevin Bartlett
