Bravo guys I've seen many different versions of Les Mis and the subtle things you did differntly from some of the other plays sets it apart,I throughly enjoyed it. It looked like you guys had a good time doing on stage, something you can't fake. Congrats on the award too.

I'm going to go against the grain here and congratulate them on this. Although I can definitely see things that I as an actor would do differently I don't have a whole lot of definite wishes for Master Thenardier. However, I wasn't too crazy for Mme Thenardier's solo. She sung it well, but I felt she was making fun of it more than what was necessary.
All the same though I saw a job well done, and congrats on the award!

@pinkape132 maybe they simply didn't participate at all? :P

When I hear this I think of George Costanza

This is a m a z i n g !
@MarshallStudios You are basing my whole performance off one video. I played Thenardier over the top in this song to make him more presentational as the host. When he was just being himself, he was more real and contained.

Im sorry but what peopel fail to realize is that thenardier is not just the comic relief he is the only true villian in the whole show. Im sorry but i would probably have voted against thsi show for the mere fact of poor character study. Theres a english version of the book and a Stage by Stage video that tells you how thenardier is. This actor is far to jolly

@Fiyero06 I appreciate your criticism. I agree and disagree, at the same time, with your analysis of the role.
Thenardier is, indeed, the villain of Les Mis. However, I believe his villainous ways do not come out until the later years of the show - once he has lost his Inn and creates his gang. Sure, he's manipulative and cheating at this stage in his life (the Innkeeper, not the gangster). But I believe his character arc as criminal is not yet reached. Makes the role interesting to watch.

@redneckhoe123 Oh. Very cool. Did your school win a National Youth Theatre Award for Best ensemble? Probably not.
