@maverickman05 It would've been strange if you did it the other way around! :))

Sick vid, but you have mixed up the splitter with the high range and low range.

Finaly, a driver that knows what he's doing.

Thanks for presenting a "gearbox's view" of the RTLO-xx913 in action; things would probably be no more complicated for an Eaton-Fuller FRO-15210B/Spicer APO1750-4C tandem (with A-3546 Range selector below the APO's four-position selector knob on the FRO's shift lever).

nice vid, good shifting.
but probably abit confusing to new drivers out there watching and listening to the gear changes and the comentry, what i mean is that the range changer changes you from low to high range and the splitter gives you the direct or overdrive gears. so when giving the running comentary when splitting the gears it would have been better to say 5th direct/5th over, 6th direct/6th over and so on. just my opinion cos people will watch this for tuition.

i remember riding w/ my dad in '72 for pepsi. he had 3 sticks to deal with then, gears, range and the split, looked really complicated to me, not to him. ive driven dump trucks and mixers with eatons with and without splitters and must say splitters really make life easier. easier to find gears, less or no grinding, less stress on tranny. wish i was better at it. when i am done with firefighting i plan to go back to truck driving school then hit the road . city driving too hard on the knees.
