Half an hour at Millbrook featuring firstly a little look around. There is then a nice clip of a voyager with a wobbly 3 tone. After that its the usual southwest units, 450s and 444s, and some first great western Units. Suw was in the wrong place, even worse at St Denys where I went after. I was only at St Denys for 5 minutes before being asked to leave as its "illegal" to film... Wasnt gonna argue. Ended up going to Bournemouth for the rest of the day with my cousin\\!

  • Thanks Bob, so you reckon its an improvement? Im thinking its hard to tell at the moment. Will do some more filming and get more used to it. Yeh i KBRAILVideos or something like that has sent me some info on the problems with being allowed to film. Great to get 5* off you!

  • BRILL :D

  • yeh, kinda wish id gone now as st denys is good.

  • May be the thing to do next time with the permit. Stil crap having to go & get a permit....

  • Yeh i spose I should have. Got 2 or three trains at St Denys, Wanted to get the southern units as well which i failed to do. Yeh the sun was in a bad position for both the locations. Im sure I read in modern railways mag that the thing about not allowing videoing and stuff has been over turned... He told me to go to SOouthampton Central and get a permit...

  • It's not illegal to film & you should of challenged them. If you camera has a back light feature, try it when doing those awkward shot's into the sun, may be worth while trying a UV or polarising filter too. Cheers.

  • thanks!
