Pożar hurtowni motoryzacyjnej Stachura. Fire Destroys wholesale distrbutor Stachura.

Pewnego pięknego lipcowego dnia w 2004 naszym oczom ukazał się ten oto widok. Płonęła hurtownia motoryzacyjna Stachura. Przyczyną pożaru było zwarcie instalacji elektrycznej, Pierwsze zapaliły się plastikowe zderzaki samochodowe potem ogień dosięgnął 10 tysięcy opon i potężne zapasy części, olejów i lakierów samochodowych. Wiadomo, że żaden z członków 60-osobowej popołudniowej zmiany nie znajdował się na terenie firmy. Na miejscu było ponad 200 strażaków. Przybyły między innymi cysterny z Nowego Sącza, Oświęcimia i Andrychowa.
Ogień przeniósł się na parterowy budynek po drugiej stronie ulicy, mieszczący m.in. skład oleju. Sytuacja była bardzo poważna, gdyż na końcu budynku znajduje się stacja benzynowa. Ogień ugaszono po kilkunastu godzinach. Nikt za wyjątkiem dwóch strażaków nie został ranny i na szczęście business był ubezpieczony.

Once upon a time in July 2004, we saw this view from our windows. Blazing infernal fire destroys automotive wholesale distrbutor Stachura. The cause of the fire was electrical short circuit. Plastic car bumpers caught fire first and then the fire had reached 10 thousand tires and huge stocks of parts, motor oils and varnishes.None of the 60 crew members, working that day late shift, were in the premises. More than 200 firefighters were at the scene. Back up fire engines came from Nowy Sacz, Oświęcim and Andrychów. The fire moved to the one storey building across the street, which including warehouse of the oil. The situation was very serious, because at the end of the building there is a petrol station.
It took dozen hours to extinguish a fire. Luckily, no one was seriously hurt and business was insured.
