Its beautiful script, being an Indian I am proud of that we invented Siddham but at the same time i am very ashamed now its dominantly used Japan only.

@saurabhCherished why be ashamed? Siddhaṃ is a throwback, it was superseded by Devanāgarī which is much easier to read and write! It is beautiful but hardly anyone can read it.

YES, very beautiful writing...and wish more people were more literate in their own handwriting. More and more people can barely write a note...let alone a whole letter by hand. Some say they do not believe it should even be taught in school, that is handwriting, since we use computers and we text almost exclusively.

Because we no longer use it.its like traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese so your right about 'easier is better' but still some Indians should come together to keep it alive in India.I'd love to learn it .
