  • does it work to power a tv, projector, or ps3. i wanna use it for raveling(camping like that) for movies or video games.

  • @giusevasi,

    yup. :)

  • Sir you really know your stuff. Especially like the heads up on the 20watt head room on the solar circuit.

  • @morgando2,

    Thanks! :)

    .

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • How much would you say this equipment weighs? Sound ideal to bring on a Peace Corps mission in Africa, but only 80lbs of supplies may be brought along.

  • azskateboarder,

It weighs about 10 lbs. -- If you are looking for something for personal use, might I suggest one of the solar chargers from the Energizer Energi-to-Go line? They're smaller, lighter and designed for your personal electronics gear.

    .

If you want something bigger, Horizon makes a few fuel-cell backed solar units that are light and easy to pack. (You add the water when you reach your destination.)

    .

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • @giusevasi it would work 1 if them units for about an hour, but you will need 2 of these units ( tv, ps3) so it will last about 30 mins. the conclusion is you will need to spend $140 carry a 10 pound unit around camping with you for 30 mins play.

  • thanks for this vid. was really helpful
