EDL - It is not 'racist' to defend your country + police 'shepherding' tactics.

EDL is NOT 'racist' its active supporters include Jews, Black People, Indians, Poles - every lover of Freedom, Justice & Democracy who opposes hate-mongering Islamic tyranny & their intolerant neo-fascist stooges of the left.

It's quite simple, all marches have been banned, therefore only static demonstrations are allowed. The police are around the edl so they are not able to attack counter protesters or members of the public. Peaceful people do not come to protests with firecrackers and smoke grenades.

@tpskl - Or so that EDL couldn't be attacked by Muslim & 'left-wing' counter-demonstrators who have shown themselves far more hate-filled, disorderly & violent than EDL.

I didn't see who threw the firecrackers (3 in all) - IF they were thrown from within the crowd that's 1 person out of 2000.

EDL were mainly lively working class 'rough diamonds' yet I was amazed & impressed by their restraint, self-discipline, orderliness & good humour under difficult circumstances & several police provocations

The EDL is not anti semetic in fact many jews support it and I think everyone has had enough of immigration

I am an Australian Hindu that back what EDL is doing. EDL is the last hope for freedom and justice in the UK as it stands as a bulwark to the Islamist agression and its planned caliphate in Europe

I was there, and like at other demos, I suspected it's the police that causes it.

Some people become angry and disappointed with their fellow EDL, but they fail to realise that it's the police who pushes at the end and blocks at the front.
