No one said the banks haven't got a share of the blame, but don't even try to deny the known fact that the staggering amount of resources spent on tan illegal war didn't have a part to play as well. By the way, lending laws were eased in the interest of economic prosperity, and it worked till the banks got greedy and became a law unto themselves.
